the closer to pearl purchase for donation program is just as it sounds. i have a handful of vetted and favorite charitable organizations that i am thrilled to support directly through the full sale of the art work included in the purchase for donation program.

as you see, each piece available in this program is posted with a listed minimum donation amount. the purchase donation must meet the minimum amount listed but is certainly welcome to exceed the listed asking donation/price.

please note that any piece that requires shipping will be subject to an additional (and separate) shipping fee and will be managed on an individual basis. All pieces within 30(ish) miles of south bend will be hand delivered free of charge.

the eligible charity organizations for the program are the following. if you are interested in making a donation for purchase, contact me to ensure the piece of interest is still available. i will then prepare your artwork for delivery or shipping. your purchase/donation is paid directly to whichever organization you choose from the list provided. each organization has their own way of collecting donations, therefor the availability of credit/debit or check transactions are entirely based on each specific organization's ability to accept donations. proof of donation is required (in the form of a pdf or screen shot) prior to delivery or shipping of the artwork.

about the art...

after years of beautifully busy and active art life the time bind found me re-prioritizing for a bit. when it was time for the art break , i pulled down the website, put the breaks on the festival and show circuit but still had a large inventory of artwork...and continued working. an ever inspired one never really stops creating. the pieces in this section are those in waiting. anything that has been waiting or that were born of my (not so) idle art break are here, wondering of their perfect wall space and their not for profit purpose.

oh how i love to make something out of nothing. using recycled materials and bringing good life to something tired and worn feels so darn good. taking that new used thing and putting it to good use feels even better. here are a few of my best favorite up cycled donation pieces. all of these items played part in a life before, this is their time with me and then came the happily ever after....totally different a little the same. valuable and unique all the while. around here, we call that treasure.
